2. Personal data we process

2.1 Data supplied through the contact form

When you contact us through the Site, you may provide your name, email address, optional telephone number, acquisition criteria and any other information included in your message. The form also records whether you have given the optional consent to be contacted about the requested services.

Please do not include confidential company documents, special categories of personal data or information that is unnecessary for an initial enquiry. Any later exchange of confidential information will be arranged through channels appropriate to the engagement.

2.2 Technical data

The Site is built and hosted using Carrd. Carrd and its infrastructure providers may process technical data necessary to display and secure the Site and deliver form submissions, such as IP address, browser or device information, date and time of the request and similar technical logs.

3. Purposes and legal bases

3.1 Responding to enquiries

We process the information supplied through the form to respond to your request, understand your acquisition criteria and evaluate a possible engagement. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, where applicable, and our legitimate interest in responding to voluntary enquiries.

3.2 Contact concerning the requested services

If you select the optional consent box, we may contact you in relation to the services you requested and relevant individual follow-up. The legal basis is your consent, which can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

3.3 Site operation, security and legal claims

We may process data as necessary to operate and secure the Site, filter common spam content, comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The legal bases are our legitimate interests and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.

We do not use contact-form data for newsletters, behavioural advertising or automated profiling.

4. Whether data is required

The fields marked as required are necessary for us to receive and respond to your request. The telephone number is optional. Consent to be contacted is optional and is not a condition for sending an enquiry.

5. Recipients and service providers

Personal data is accessed only by people authorised by Exo Progetti and may be processed by suppliers that support the Site and communications, including:

  • Carrd Inc., which provides the website, hosting and contact-form platform;
  • Google Workspace / Gmail, used to receive and store messages generated by the form.

Data may also be disclosed to competent authorities or professional advisers when required by law or necessary to protect a right. It is not sold or disclosed to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. International transfers

The use of Carrd and Google services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Transfers take place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR and the safeguards applicable to the relevant provider, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses where required.

7. Retention

  • Enquiries and related correspondence are normally retained for up to 12 months after the response or last relevant contact when no further engagement develops.
  • Where consent has been given for follow-up, information may be retained for up to 36 months from collection or the last relevant contact, unless consent is withdrawn earlier.

Data may be retained longer where necessary to comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information relating to an active or completed client engagement may be retained for the period required by contractual, accounting and legal obligations.

8. Cookies and tracking

Exo Progetti has not activated advertising, behavioural profiling or non-essential analytics tools on the Site. Carrd and its infrastructure providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are technically necessary to deliver and secure the Site and operate the contact form.

If non-essential analytics, marketing or profiling tools are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be implemented where required.

9. External links

The Site may link to external services, including LinkedIn and related Exo Progetti websites. When you follow an external link, the third party processes data under its own privacy policy and independently from Exo Progetti.

10. Your rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Requests can be made through the contact form at acquireinitaly.com or by post to Exo Progetti S.r.l. at the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

11. Updates

This policy may be updated when the Site, the services used or the applicable law changes. The current version will always be published on this page.
